Rule 98 Supplemental Answers

When a plaintiff adds new information to their case, the defendant gets a chance to respond to that new information. This response is called a supplemental answer.

In a supplemental answer, the defendant can do three things: point out legal problems with what the plaintiff said, deny the plaintiff's new claims, or bring up new facts that counter what the plaintiff added. The defendant cannot use this as a chance to re-argue things that were already part of the case before.
