Art. 101.003 INTERNAL REFERENCES

This rule is about how to read other rules in this same law book. It explains what it means when a rule points to another part of the law without saying exactly where that part is.

If a rule mentions a "chapter" or "article" without giving more details, it means a chapter or article from this same title of law. Similarly, if a rule mentions a smaller section, like a "subsection" or "paragraph," without saying which title it comes from, it means that section belongs to the larger part of the law where that reference shows up.

Basically, this rule helps keep things simple. Instead of repeating "this title" over and over every time one rule refers to another, this rule sets that assumption automatically. It saves space and avoids confusion about which law the reference is pointing to.
