Art. 47.07 OWNER MAY RECOVER

If your property was sold by the court after being seized or held as evidence, you may still be able to get money back. This rule says that if you are the real owner of that property, you can claim the money the court got from selling it.

To get your money, you have to follow the same steps and rules laid out in Article 18.17(e). This usually means proving that the property was really yours before you can collect the sale proceeds.

In short, selling the property does not mean you lose your right to its value. You just have to come forward, prove ownership, and follow the correct legal process to claim what you are owed.
