Plain-English Summary (for reference only — not a substitute for the rule text above)
This summary is not the rule. The rule text controls.
Each year, the attorney general has to send a report to the governor and the state legislature about crime victim compensation work done that year. This report is due within 100 days after the state's fiscal year ends.
The report has to include numbers showing how many claims were filed, how many were approved, and how many were turned down. This gives lawmakers and the governor a clear picture of how the program is working and whether victims are getting the help they're asking for.
