Art. 7.13 WHEN THE DEFENDANT HAS COMMITTED A CRIME

If a magistrate looks at the evidence and finds that a person likely committed a crime, that person gets treated just like anyone else who has been charged with a crime. The case then moves forward using the standard steps that apply to all criminal cases.

This means the person doesn't get special treatment or a different process just because of how their case came before the magistrate. They get the same rights, the same procedures, and the same path through the court system as any other defendant. Basically, once the magistrate decides there's enough evidence of a crime, the normal criminal justice process takes over from there.
