Rule 706 Audit in Civil Cases

When a court orders an official audit of financial records in a civil case, the auditor's report must be accepted as evidence. The judge cannot keep it out, even if other evidence rules might normally block it.

If you disagree with what the auditor found, you can file formal objections called "exceptions." Once you do that, you can bring in your own evidence to challenge the report's findings.
