Rule 6d Return Check Fee.

If you pay the court by check and the check bounces, you'll be charged a $50 fee. This can happen if you don't have enough money in your account, if you stopped the payment, or for any other reason the bank sends it back.

This $50 fee is added on top of whatever you already owed the court. You'll need to pay both the original amount and the $50 fee before the court will give you the document you asked for or process any other requests from you in the future.

If your checks keep bouncing, the court clerk has the right to stop accepting checks from you altogether. At that point, you would likely need to pay another way, such as with cash or a money order.
