Rule 4-105 Designation of arraignment area as courtroom

When a judge holds arraignments, the space being used counts as an official courtroom, even if it's not the usual room where trials happen. This means all the normal courtroom rules apply there too.

For anyone attending or taking part in an arraignment, this means you need to follow the same behavior and procedure rules you'd follow in any other courtroom. Things like how you dress, how you address the judge, and general courtroom conduct still apply, no matter what room or space is actually being used.
