Rule 12 Stipulated Resolutions by Commission
Rule Text
(a) Generally. The commission may stipulate to a disposition of a case, with the agreement of the judge under CJCRP 23. If the stipulation requires the suspension, removal, or retirement of a judge, the Supreme Court must review and approve or reject the stipulation.
(b) Effect of Stipulated Resolution. A stipulated agreement to admonish, reprimand, or censure a judge without a recommendation for suspension, removal, or retirement terminates the complaint or complaints which gave rise to the admonishment or reprimand, without the necessity of referring the matter to the Supreme Court.
