Rule 4.3 Conduct of Hearing

When a judge's case goes before the Judicial Hearing Board, the hearing follows the same basic rules used in regular civil court cases. This means the standard rules for evidence and courtroom procedure apply, unless the judicial discipline rules specifically say otherwise.

These hearings are also open to the public. Anyone can attend and observe the proceedings, since the process isn't kept private or confidential like some other types of disciplinary matters might be.
