Rule 6.7 Evaluation Expenses

If a judge is required to get a psychological or medical evaluation as part of a disciplinary matter, the judge has to pay for it themselves. This applies to any costs that the judge's health insurance doesn't cover.

In short, the judge can't ask the court system or anyone else to pick up the bill for these evaluations. Any out-of-pocket costs land on the judge, not on the public or the disciplinary board.
