Rule 13.01 Generally

Here's a plain English summary of this rule:

Court library materials, like books and legal resources, can't be taken out of the building. The only exception is if someone needs to make copies at a different courthouse nearby, and even then it's only for a short time.

You can use the library during normal business hours when the court is open. If you need access outside those hours, you may be able to get a key, but this depends on approval from the circuit judge who oversees the library. Anyone who gets a key can't make copies of it or give it to other people who don't work for the court.
