Rule 2.09 Ninth Circuit

This rule sets the schedule for court terms in the Ninth Circuit, which covers Boone and Lincoln counties. Each county holds three court terms every year.

In Boone County, the court term starts on the third Monday in January, April, and September. Lincoln County follows the exact same schedule, with terms also starting on the third Monday in January, April, and September.

If you have a case in either of these counties, this schedule tells you when new court terms begin. Court business, including trials and other proceedings, gets organized around these terms.
