Rule 2.17 Seventeenth Circuit

This rule sets the court term dates for four counties in West Virginia's Seventeenth Circuit: Braxton, Clay, Gilmer, and Webster.

In Braxton County, court terms start on the first Monday in February, June, and October. In Clay County, terms begin on the third Monday in March, the second Monday in July, and the first Monday in November. Gilmer County's terms start on the first Monday in March, July, and November. Webster County's terms begin on the second Monday in January, and the first Monday in May and September.

These dates matter because they mark when the circuit court officially opens for business in each county during that period.
