Rule 8.08 Pooling Arrangements

If more than one news organization wants to bring cameras into the courtroom, they have to work out an agreement among themselves about how to share the equipment and coverage. The judge will not step in to settle disagreements about who gets to film or how the sharing arrangement should work. That's a problem the media outlets have to solve on their own.

If the news organizations can't agree on a plan before coming to court, the judge has the power to simply ban all of their camera equipment from the courtroom. In other words, failing to cooperate and plan ahead can cost everyone their chance to record the proceedings.
