If you win a small claims case in Alabama, you have options for collecting what you're owed. This process of collecting on a judgment is called "execution." You can use any of the standard legal tools that district courts allow for collecting money owed to you.
There is one exception to keep in mind. Rule 62 of the Alabama Rules of Civil Procedure sets some limits on when and how you can collect. This rule sometimes puts a hold on collection efforts, for example, while the other side has a chance to appeal. So before you try to collect your judgment, it's worth checking whether Rule 62 applies to your situation and whether it changes your timeline.
