Rule 8 Setting the Hearing

When you file a small claims case in Arizona, the court will schedule a hearing date. That hearing must happen within 60 days after the person being sued files their answer with the court.

Both sides must show up on the hearing date. If you are involved in the case, whether you are the one who filed or the one being sued, you are expected to be there in person.
