Rule 8.925 General application of chapter 4

When someone brings an infraction case to the appellate division, the same basic rules that cover other appellate division cases also apply. These rules cover how to write and file briefs, how hearings work, and how the court makes its decision.

The only exceptions are specific situations spelled out elsewhere in this article, which may change how some of those rules apply to infraction cases.
