Local Rule 9013-2: Memoranda of Law

Rule 9013-2 Memoranda of Law A memorandum of law may be submitted in any contested matter, or with a nondispositive motion in an adversary proceeding, and must be submitted with all dispositive motions in adversary proceedings. Any memorandum submitted must be filed and served at least seven (7) days before the scheduled hearing, except as allowed or required by the Court.
No memorandum may exceed 20 pages in length, exclusive of the table of contents and exhibits, without prior permission from the Court. Photocopies of cases relied on may be attached if desired.
When the movant is required by these or other rules, or by court order, to submit a memorandum, any responsive memorandum must be filed by the opposing party within 14 days after service of the movant's pleadings.
