Plain-English Summary (for reference only — not a substitute for the rule text above)
This summary is not the rule. The rule text controls.
The Delaware Superior Court follows a specific set of rules for how civil cases are handled. These rules cover almost all cases in the court, with a few exceptions listed in Rule 81.
The goal of these rules is simple: to make sure cases are resolved fairly, quickly, and without unnecessary cost. Both the judge and the people involved in a case are expected to follow and apply the rules with that goal in mind.
