Rule 3.540 When Verdict May Be Rendered

Courts can announce a verdict on any day of the week, including Sundays and holidays. There are no days when a verdict is off-limits.

If the jury needs extra guidance or a correction to their instructions, the judge can give those updated instructions on any day as well. The calendar does not slow down or stop the jury process.
