Rule 90.106 Summing up and comment by judge

Florida judges must stay neutral when speaking to the jury. They cannot tell jurors what they think about the evidence, whether a witness seems believable, or whether they think the defendant is guilty.

This rule protects your right to have the jury decide the facts of your case without being influenced by the judge's personal opinions. The jury alone decides what the evidence means and who to believe.
