Rule 23-4 Judicial Education Exemptions

A judge in the Business Court can get a temporary break from taking required education classes if they are going through a very difficult personal situation. The court can grant this break for up to one year at a time.

Even with this exemption, the judge still has to file all the usual paperwork and reports. The break only covers the classes themselves, not the rule that requires judges to report their education activities.
