If you file an application to appeal a court order, but the case actually belongs in the Georgia Supreme Court, the Court of Appeals will send your case over to the right court. You do not need to worry about filing in the wrong place for this reason alone.

This mainly matters for certain types of cases that the Supreme Court handles, like cases involving the Georgia Constitution. The transfer happens automatically, so your application will still be reviewed by the correct court.
