§ 24-11-29 [UCC Papers Excluded From Article]

If you have lost or destroyed paperwork related to business transactions covered by the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), this rule generally does not apply to you. The UCC covers things like sales contracts, loans, bank transactions, and other common business dealings.

There is one exception. The rule found in Code Section 24-11-20 still applies even to UCC-related papers. So while most of this article's rules are set aside for UCC documents, that one section still counts.
