Rule 9.3 Effect of Leave

If an attorney gets approved leave (time off) from a case, they do not have to show up for any court hearings, trials, depositions, or other legal proceedings related to that case while they are on leave.

However, getting leave does not push back any deadlines. If a filing or document is due on a certain date, that date stays the same even if the attorney is on leave.
