Rule 24.2 Removal from Calendar.

Only a judge can remove or postpone a case from the court schedule. No one else has the power to do this.

If you or the other party want to delay or reschedule a case, you cannot do it on your own. You must ask the judge, and the judge decides whether to allow it.
