If someone files a motion in probate court, the other side has 30 days to respond. The response can be a written memo, affidavits, or other documents that explain why the motion should be denied or changed.

The 30-day clock starts when the motion is delivered to you, not when it is filed with the court. A judge can change this deadline if the situation calls for it.
