Rule 1.1 Repeal of Local Rules

Starting January 1, 2011, all local rules that individual superior courts had created for themselves were wiped out. This means the old rules that varied from courthouse to courthouse were no longer in effect after that date.

This change was meant to create more consistency across superior courts in the state. Instead of each court doing things its own way, everyone would follow the same set of uniform rules going forward.
