Rule 16.4 Denial of Application for Leave

If you want to ask the court for permission to do something (called an "application for leave"), you must follow the exact steps set out in the rules. If you do not follow those steps, the court will automatically turn down your request.

When your request is denied, the court will send you a notice explaining what happened. The notice follows a standard form that the court uses for these situations.
