Rule 18.5 Residence of Senior Judge

A senior judge can only be called to work in Georgia courts if that judge actually lives in Georgia. "Bona fide resident" means the judge must truly call Georgia home, not just have an address there.

This rule keeps court work local by making sure any senior judge brought in to help has real ties to the state.
