Rule 4.9 To Notify of Previous Presentation to Another Judge

If you have already asked one judge to rule on something and that judge said no (or made any decision), you cannot go ask a different judge the same thing without being upfront about it.

Your lawyer must tell the new judge that another judge already looked at this matter and explain what happened. Hiding that information from the new judge is not allowed.
