Rule 104 Request to Amend Uniform Rules

If a trial court wants to change the standard rules that apply to all courts of its type, it must send that request to the Clerk of the Georgia Supreme Court. The Supreme Court then decides whether to approve the change.

Some courts also have their own internal procedures for how they run day-to-day operations. These procedures still need to be filed with the Clerk of the Supreme Court, but the Court does not have to approve them.
