Rule 39 Court of Appeals Opinion

When you file a petition with the Georgia Supreme Court, you must include a copy of the Court of Appeals decision you are challenging. If you also asked the Court of Appeals to reconsider its decision, you need to attach that reconsideration order too.

Think of it as showing your work. The Supreme Court needs to see exactly what the lower court decided before it can review your case.
