§ 1.3 Secretary

The Clerk of the Hawaiʻi Supreme Court acts as the Secretary for the Board of Bar Examiners. This means the Clerk handles administrative support for the Board's work. The Clerk can also pick staff members to help out with these duties.

Part of this job includes keeping track of what happens at Board meetings. The Clerk, or someone the Clerk chooses, writes up and keeps the minutes from these meetings. This creates an official record of what the Board discussed and decided.
