§ 1.4 Staff

The Board of Bar Examiners has staff who help carry out its work. These staff members can act on the Board's behalf when it comes to specific duties that are outlined in the rules.

The Clerk plays a key role in this process. If the Board Chair or the Board itself asks, the Clerk can assign staff members to handle additional tasks or represent the Board in other ways beyond what's already spelled out.

In simple terms, this rule gives the Board flexibility. Instead of requiring Board members to personally handle every task, they can rely on staff to get things done, as long as the Chair or Board approves it.
