If you have a stake in a property or loan that's part of one of these cases, but you're not the one who filed the petition, you have a right to join the court process. This includes people like co-signers and guarantors who are on the hook for the loan, not just the property owner.
To join the case, you need to fill out and file a form (called Form B) with the circuit court. You must do this within 45 days after the original petition was filed. Filing this form means you're agreeing to let the court handle the matter and accepting its authority to make decisions about the property or loan.
If you miss this 45 day deadline, you may lose your chance to formally take part in the case. So if you have any financial connection to the property or loan involved, it's a good idea to act quickly and get this form filed on time.
