Rule 11 Issuance of Certificate of Court Interpreter Tier Designation Status

Once an interpreter meets all the requirements in these rules, the Administrative Director of the Courts will give them a certificate. This certificate shows which tier level the interpreter has earned.

Getting this certificate is not a one-time deal. Interpreters still need to keep up with any continuing education requirements set by the Administrative Director under Rule 18. This means they may need to keep learning and training to hold on to their certified status.
