Rule 13 Hawaiʻi State Court Interpreter Registry

If you become certified as an interpreter under Rule 11, your name gets added to Hawaiʻi's official list of court interpreters. This list is called the Hawaiʻi State Court Interpreter Registry.

Being on this registry shows courts, attorneys, and other people in the legal system that you have met the state's requirements to interpret in court. Your tier level, which reflects your skill level and testing results, will be part of your listing. This helps courts find qualified interpreters when they need one for a case.
