Rule 4 Terms of Office

This rule sets up how long the top leaders of the commission get to serve and how they can be removed from their jobs.

The chairperson, vice-chairperson, and secretary each serve two-year terms. These are the people who help run the commission's business and keep things organized.

If commission members are unhappy with how one of these leaders is doing their job, they don't have to wait until the two years are up. A majority of the commission can vote to remove an officer early, before their term ends.
