Rule 141 Case Number

When someone dies and a court case needs to appoint a legal representative to handle no-fault insurance benefits, the court clerk gives that case a special number, called a "P. No." This number acts like an ID tag for the case.

Once the clerk assigns this number, everyone must use it for any future paperwork or actions related to that same deceased person's case. This keeps all the records connected and organized under one case number, so the court and anyone involved can easily find and track everything related to that person's benefits.
