Plain-English Summary (for reference only — not a substitute for the rule text above)
This summary is not the rule. The rule text controls.
This rule explains who runs things when the head of the grievance commission cannot be there. The commission needs a clerk and an assistant clerk to handle its paperwork and daily tasks. These two people are picked by the executive director of the office of professional regulation.
The rule also sets up a backup leader for the commission. The executive director and the commission's chair choose someone to serve as vice chair. If the chair is away or cannot do the job for some reason, the vice chair steps in and takes over all the chair's duties.
This setup makes sure the commission can keep working even if the chair is sick, busy, or otherwise unavailable. It gives clear direction on who takes charge so cases and decisions are not held up.
