Rule 1.804 Of whole case

Here's a plain English summary of this rule:

If a case has multiple parties on one side (like several people suing together or several people being sued together), any one of them can ask to move the case to a different court. This request doesn't just apply to that one person's part of the case. Instead, the entire case gets transferred to the new court, including all the parties and all the claims involved.

There's one exception to this. If the court has already decided to hold separate trials for different parties or claims within the case, then this rule about transferring the whole case doesn't automatically apply in the same way. In that situation, the separate trial arrangement takes priority over moving everything together.
