Iowa Uniform Family Law Arbitration Rules – 2026

Four rules governing court proceedings that arise from a family law arbitration under the Iowa Uniform Family Law Arbitration Act, Iowa Code chapter 598A. Rule 71.1 sets that scope and provides that the Act controls over a conflicting rule. Rule 71.2 covers the proceedings in arbitration, Rule 71.3 what is required before the court enters a final order or decree, and Rule 71.10 lists the forms for uniform family law arbitration actions.
