§ 60-3324 Preservation of trade secret during action.

The judge can limit what information gets shared during discovery (the process where both sides exchange evidence). The judge can also hold private hearings, called in-camera hearings, where only the judge and necessary parties are present instead of the public. Court records related to the trade secret can be sealed, meaning they are kept out of public view.

The judge can also order anyone connected to the case, like lawyers, witnesses, or company employees, not to share the trade secret with anyone else. If someone wants to reveal the secret information for any reason, they need to get the court's permission first. This rule exists to protect businesses and individuals from losing valuable secret information just because they had to go to court to protect their rights.
