II, Sec. 3 Use of the jury management program

Every county has to use the same statewide computer system, called the Jury Management Program, to pick and contact people for jury duty. Instead of each county handling this on its own, jury notices go out through one central mailing system. This helps make sure the process works the same way across the whole state.

The Administrative Office of the Courts is in charge of setting the rules for how this system gets used. They decide the standard steps every county follows so things stay consistent no matter where you live.

The Administrative Office of the Courts also trains people on how to use the system. This training goes to the chief circuit judge in each area, or to someone that judge picks to learn it instead. That person then makes sure the county follows the correct process for calling people in for jury service.
