8.030 Staff for Commission

This rule explains who handles the administrative work for a judicial commission in Kentucky. The Manager of the Division of Judicial Branch Education, which is part of the Administrative Office of the Courts, takes on this job. That person acts as the Executive Secretary for the Commission.

The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court can also choose someone else to fill this role instead. This gives some flexibility in deciding who runs the day to day support work for the Commission.

The note at the end just explains the history of how court rules got renamed and renumbered over the years. It shows that these rules used to be called something different before 1978, but this doesn't change what the rule means today.
