When the court clerk needs to send out notices or documents required by these rules, they send them to the lawyer handling the case for each side. If someone doesn't have a lawyer, the clerk sends the notice directly to that person instead.

This means it's up to each person and lawyer involved in a case to keep their contact information current with the court. If your address or email changes and you don't update it with the clerk, you might miss an important notice about your case.
