XIX App. B R. 2 Scheduling of Hearing Date; Selection of Alternates

When a lawyer disciplinary case is ready for a hearing, the administrator works with the hearing committee members to pick a date that works for everyone. This is a coordination step to make sure the hearing can actually happen as planned.

If a committee member can't make it on the chosen date, that person gets swapped out for a backup. The administrator keeps a list of alternates for each circuit, and replacements are pulled from that list in order. This keeps the process moving without delays, even if someone on the original committee has a scheduling conflict.
