XIX App. B R. 8 Signing Orders and Reports

When a hearing committee makes a decision in a lawyer discipline case, someone has to sign the official order or report. This rule says the chair of that committee can sign on behalf of the whole group.

But there's a catch. The chair can't just sign without checking first. Every member of the committee has to agree and give the chair permission to sign for them. This makes sure the document actually reflects what the whole committee decided, not just what one person thinks.

In short, this rule lets one person handle the paperwork while still making sure everyone on the committee is on board with what's being signed.
